Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: 1.03.2025

Share to Care (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to ensuring equal access to digital services for all users, including individuals with disabilities. This policy applies to our website, https://www.sharetocare.world, and all associated digital platforms, in line with our humanitarian mission and obligations under applicable law.

1. Legal Framework

In Ukraine, we comply with the Law of Ukraine “On the Basics of Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities in Ukraine” and national guidance aligning with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. As of 2023, Ukrainian authorities have formally committed to implementing digital accessibility in accordance with the European standard EN 301 549. Draft legislation on digital inclusion, based on the European Accessibility Act, is expected to become binding in the near future.

In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), we operate in accordance with the UAE’s National Policy for Empowering People of Determination and the National Digital Accessibility Policy, which require compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. These obligations are overseen by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), and supported by Federal Law No. 29 of 2006 concerning the Rights of People of Determination.

2. Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring that our digital content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. This means that:

All images and non-text content include alternative (alt) text descriptions.

Our website can be navigated using a keyboard without a mouse.

Text is readable with sufficient contrast and adjustable size.

Forms and links are clearly labeled for screen readers.

Video content, where applicable, includes captions or transcripts.

We use semantic HTML and accessible design practices to support assistive technologies.

3. Implementation Measures

To fulfill our accessibility commitment, we:

Design all new content and features in compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA;

Conduct periodic accessibility audits using automated and manual methods;

Train our team on accessibility best practices;

Offer content in alternative formats upon request (e.g., large print, audio, plain language);

Provide a mechanism for users to report accessibility issues;

Review and improve this policy regularly as standards evolve.

4. Feedback and Contact

We aim to respond to all requests within five business days.

5. Known Limitations

Some older content, documents, or third-party media may not fully comply with current accessibility standards. We are actively working to update this content and will provide accessible alternatives upon request.

6. Continuous Improvement

As accessibility standards evolve, including the anticipated implementation of WCAG 3.0 and national reforms in both Ukraine and the UAE, we are committed to ongoing updates and enhancements to our digital services to remain compliant and inclusive.

7. Policy Updates

This Accessibility Policy may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website, and where legally required, we will notify users of significant changes via email or public announcement.
